Metric Units:
  • Meters (m): Length (1 m ≈ 39.37 in)
  • Kilometers per hour (km/h): Speed (1 km/h ≈ 0.621 mph)
  • Kilograms (kg): Weight (1 kg ≈ 2.205 lb)
Imperial Units:
  • Inches (in): Length (1 in ≈ 0.0254 m)
  • Miles per hour (mph): Speed (1 mph ≈ 1.609 km/h)
  • Pounds (lb): Weight (1 lb ≈ 0.454 kg)

Understanding Your Results

  • Propeller Diameter: Width of the propeller’s blade circle. Larger diameters suit heavier boats or wakeboarding/wakesurfing.
  • Propeller Pitch: Distance the boat moves forward per revolution. Lower pitch improves hole shot; higher pitch increases speed.
  • Blade Count: Number of blades (3 or 4). 4-blade props offer better low-end power for wake sports; 3-blade for skiing speed.
  • Propeller Model: ACME model number (e.g., 1234, 2097) for your boat and goal.
  • Rotation: Direction of prop spin (R = right, L = left). Twin-engine boats may need both.
  • Propeller Slip: Difference between theoretical and actual travel (10–20% typical for inboards).
  • WOT RPM: Engine RPM at full throttle. Should be within 4800–5500 RPM for inboard engines.
  • Top Speed: Estimated maximum speed with the recommended propeller.
